PSC provides Personnel Placement, Strategic Planning, and Communications services using our forty years of business acumen. Our services enable our clients to have more time to focus on their daily responsibilities, and help to elevate the professionalism of their business.
Some intangible characteristics that you will not find in our bios, are that we are honest, good hearted people. We care about others, both professionally and personally. If we meet with you and believe that your business needs are not a good fit for our services, we will let you know. And, there is no cost for our placement services unless an individual we recommend is hired by a company.
Dan is a forty year IT veteran with extensive knowledge of the Software, Hardware, and Manufacturing industries. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri. He served as a Captain and Pilot in the U.S. Air Force, and saw action in the Viet Nam conflict.
Dan had a successful career with IBM selling and installing hardware and software. He was President/Owner of Professional Software Consultants. PSC was System Software Associates' Midwest Affiliate, that sold and implemented their ERP Solution, Business Planning and Control System (BPCS). Some of his clients included Garmin, Farmland Foods, American Italian Pasta, Cross Manufacturing, and Peterson Manufacturing. In 1998, Dan sold PSC to the international software company, Intentia (now INFOR).
Dan then became a Managing Partner at Spectrum Resources, a KC based Placement and Consulting firm. Spectrum provided Personnel Placement, Strategic Planning, Virtual CIO, Project Management, and Mobility Solutions. Dan managed client projects and placed personnel with expertise in the iSeries AS/400 arena and with ERP systems including BPCS/LX, the SAP Enterprise Business Suite, JD Edwards World, and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Some of Spectrum's clients included Caravan Ingredients, Peterson Manufacturing, American Italian Pasta Company, Seaboard, Labconco, BPU, Harley Davidson, Helzberg, US Safety, Wireco, Landau Uniforms, and Bushnell.
In 2016, Dan started PSC Resources, offering Placement, Strategy, and Communications services. PSC's streamlined business model provides its clients with economical placement fees and contractor rates.
Lori has twenty-five years of Business, Marketing, and Communications experience. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University. She offers strong strategic planning, project management, and personnel placement expertise.
Lori marketed ERP and E-Business solutions for Professional Software Consultants, which was sold to Intentia (now INFOR). At Intentia, she planned and excecuted all of their North American promotions and advertising for their ERP solution, MOVEX.
She was the Marketing Manager at Subject, Wills & Company (now SWC Technology Partners), an organization offering E-Business, Security, and Infrastructure solutions. She was also a Group Marketing Manager with Smith, Bucklin & Associates (SBA), the nation’s largest association management company. With SBA, she provided strategic marketing planning for the International Oracle Users Group, Encompass, a Compaq Users Group, and the Catia Operators Exchange.
In 2003, Lori started her own marketing business, LAJ Consulting. She provides many services for her clients including Identity Creation and Branding, Copy-Writing and Desktop Publishing for Traditional and Digital use, Online Content Management, and Creation of Promotional and Lead Generation Campaigns.
Since 2006, Lori has worked with Dan Kilpatrick at Spectrum Resources to recruit and place permanent and contract personnel. And she continues to work side by side with Dan, providing Placement, Strategy, and Communications services at PSC Resources.
